Having started her it’seeze web design franchise in March 2020, Gemma Green has certainly got off to a strong start, despite the tricky timing. Knutsford-based Gemma began her it’seeze franchise journey right at the beginning of the UK’s first national lockdown, after having initially been an it’seeze client. "Filled with dread due to the timing of it all, I decided to use lockdown to my advantage and hit social media really hard, as well as using my extensive marketing background," says Gemma.
Understanding that so many were locked indoors searching for new, innovative ways to market their business, Gemma was able to sell website services whilst also building a loyal online community of clients who appreciated her expertise. To this day, she holds the record for the highest number of sales made through social media for any it’seeze franchisee ever.

Gemma’s drive to understand her clients’ needs and offer them the best support she can has allowed her to achieve remarkable results, such as beating several sales records, reaching the top of the 2020 sales leaderboard in spite of having only operated her franchise for 9 months, and amassing more 5-star Trustpilot and Google reviews than any other franchisee in 2020.
Not to mention, Gemma goes above and beyond for her clients, even offering her private Facebook group users exclusive and informative content to help them make the most of their website.

Words of wisdom
When asked about what advice she would give other budding female franchisees, Gemma says "I would advise other women considering joining a franchise to do your research, as it is so important that you enjoy what you do."
She adds that they should "speak to the team at Head Office and talk to other franchisees about their experience" in order to get a better understanding of what running a franchise is really like.
