Nic & Sarah Johnson A partnership that works 

Business partners and husband and wife team, Nic and Sarah Johnson, were not initially looking to join a franchise, but after meeting Rob Davies, the it’seeze franchisee for Ryedale, they were interested to discover whether partnering with a well-established brand was a business opportunity that they could happily venture into together. 
They soon discovered that pursuing an it’seeze franchise together was a financially viable decision for them. Already running their own digital marketing company, Nic and Sarah realised that “the cost to employ web developers, freelance designers, email specialists, and a business support team for a year would far exceed the franchise fee of partnering with it’seeze”. 

A record-breaking beginning 

As a team, Nic and Sarah find the best recipe for success with their it’seeze franchise is “each taking on different roles within the business whilst also keeping one another in check!”. This strategy appears to have paid off, as back in 2017 - just 5 months into their online marketing franchise, the pair sold an incredible 16 websites in one month, breaking the previous sales record, held by 2 franchisees, of 14 sales in a month. 
 
Earning the title of it’seeze record holders so early on in their new venture was a fantastic achievement, and perfectly demonstrated the potential for success when you partner with a proven franchise. 

A rapidly growing family-run franchise 

After exceeding their sales targets throughout 2020, and with their it’seeze business growing more quickly than they’d anticipated, Nic and Sarah realised that they needed to “work smarter” and to do this they decided that they needed a full-time employee to help with “client support, social media, and general day to day issues”. 
 
Having finished her degree in 2020, Nic and Sarah’s eldest daughter Liv was looking to start her career. Finding a job isn’t always easy - yet alone in the middle of a pandemic! Luckily for them, this was perfect timing to introduce Liv to their team and fill the role that would help their business to grow even further. “The fact that we’re a true family business is a plus point for us and we work closely with each other and understand our strengths and weaknesses.” 
Employing their daughter has not only given Liv a successful start to her digital career, it has also allowed their talented trio to “offer more client support, free up time to plan more marketing and growth initiatives and overall, raise monthly targets”.
